Sugar is not always a bad word in my world. In fact, I need a certain amount of natural sugar to function. Natural sugars help me transport nutrients and keep my system in balance. If I don’t have enough of the right kinds of sugar I make feel weak and wobbly.
Natural sugar is not what hurts me, it is the artificial sweeteners that are slowly and silently killing me. So please make sure to eat the good sugar not the fake stuff. That goes for what you put in your coffee and tea too!
Just remember I have a sweet tooth too, just make sure you give me what I need!

There is so much misinformation out there about sugars and what is actually good for the body. The truth is that natural sugar is not bad for the body. The body can process real sugar and break it down. Artificial and refined sugars on the other hand can send your body into a tail spin of health problems. For one, the body can not break down and process artificial sweeteners so the body reacts to them as a toxin and covers it with extra fat and water to protect you. Sucralose- bloating, nausea, diarrhea, headache, anxiety and skin rashes.
Saccharin or Sweet n Low- linked to cancer
Tagalose or Naturlose- flatulence, bloating, nausea, and diarrhea
These are just a few of the side effects associated with these deadly chemicals, and I would argue some health issues haven’t even been uncovered yet.
The best thing you can do for your body and health is to go back to nature. Natural sugar will not kill you, make you crazy, or sick.
